This year's experience is The Great American Expedition, an 8-course Americana tasting designed to move through smoke, flame, memory, and celebration. From the Gulf Coast to the frontier West, every course tells a story worth savoring.

This is not a regular dinner menu. The Great American Expedition spans eight courses of wild game and Southern-inspired flavor — alligator, kangaroo, antelope, venison, ostrich, elk, and more — each paired with a hand-selected cocktail, wine, or spirit.
In this exclusive, one-night-only event, two storytellers step into the American past through the tradition of living history—bringing historical figures to life to spark stories, memory, and dialogue around the fire.
Babe Ruth, portrayed by Kevin Treu: A professor, actor, and director for over three decades, Kevin Treu brings the legendary slugger to life, having debuted the character with the Chautauqua Festival in 2025.
Rosa Parks, portrayed by Becky Stone: A Chautauqua scholar since 2003, Becky Stone has spent two decades researching and performing iconic American women across stages throughout the South, Midwest, and West.
